Wearing a V for vendetta mask, this man holds up a placard that says "พี่พี่ ทหาร โปรดเอาแผ่นดินไทยของเราคืนมา" (brothers in the military, please take back Thailand).
This is a group of untra -royalists in Thailand that have been active since 2005 with the demands "Thaksin out and returning the power to the King". They have used many aggressive actions, including supporting the Military Coup for the King in 2006, and occupied two international airports in Bangkok in 2008. (Since being on the throne in 1949, the Thai King has approved 9 military coups and since 2008, Forbes has named the Thai monarch the longest and richest monarch in the world).
At present, the royalists return, once again, to ouster the latest elected government. This time, with much less in numbers, only a couple of hundreds. In order to get public attention - after all of their 'love the king' and 'died for the king' mantra doesn't work - they have returned with communist uniforms and V for vendetta masks.
Can you imagine "communists protecting a King" and "V for Vendetta protecting a King"? That's what happening right now in the 'confusing Thailand'.
FYI, Thailand has the most cruel Lèse Majesté Law in the world (3-15 years imprisonment for a crime) and many activists are now in prisons for criticising the Thai monarchy.

Thailand's confusion is confusing the world once again, when ultra-royalists with 'winning-no-matter-what' strategy are wearing communists uniform and V for Vendetta masks marching on a famous shopping street of Bangkok. They are claiming, as usual with magic words, to 'kicking out corrupted government'. But .. but...they have deliberately kept another truth, but most important truth, behind the throne, which are; with the support of the monarchy they have successfully kicked-out three elected governments since 2006; and that they have to march with V for Vendetta masks on the street again in 2012 because their political party, the Democrat Party, has never win the election, although it's cristal clear that the place and the army are with them.

ขอโทษนะฮะ หงุดหงิดอารมณ์เสียทุกครั้งเวลาได้ยินข้าราชการพูดว่าเป็นข้าในพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว หรือจะประพฤติตามรอยพระยุคลบาทเนี่ย
เพราะจากประสบการณ์ทำงานและปะทะกับเจ้าหน้าที่รัฐมาเยยอะ คนที่อ้าปากก็อ้างคำเหล่านี้แม่ง พูดตรงๆ นะ คือพวกไม่ยอมทำงาน และก็พวกชอบหลีกเลี่ยงความรับผิดชอบและหน้าที่ยามถูกดันให้ลุกมาแก้ไขปัญหาคนงาน ปัญหาคนจน
จึงมักจะหลีกเลี่ยงด้วยวลีเด็ดเพื่อปิดปากนักกิจกรรมและชาวบ้านว่า "ผมเป็นข้าในพระบาทฯ"
เจอมาเยอะ จนพอเห็นข้าราชการจะเปิดปากอ้างคำพูดเหล่านี้ กูก็ต้องดักคอไว้ก่อนเลยว่า "อย่าเอาในหลวงมาอ้าง"
